Katherine Lermond

Architect, Principal

Katherine began with the firm in 2013 after relocating from her hometown of Boston.  Having attended Colby and worked for an architecture firm in Portland after undergraduate school, she grew to love Maine.  After completing a Master’s from Rhode Island School of Design, Katherine worked for a time as an intern in Boston, but then fulfilled her dream of returning to Maine.  In both Boston and Portland, Katherine has worked on a wide array of projects, ranging from large-scale civic projects to smaller residential and commercial projects.  She is inspired by the design opportunities offered by the city of Portland, a thriving small city that is growing quickly while maintaining its rich historic downtown.

Katherine lives in Falmouth with her husband, Luke. her daughter, Aila, and her dog, cat and chickens. Her time away from architecture is spent on the water, in the garden or on the mountains.
